UK Gov Lifts Sex Ban, Frees Millions Of Couples To Bond With Partners

Despite cases of Coronavirus recorded in the United Kingdom, UK, citizens have been granted freedom to go out during the next weekend to make bonds with partners.

Naija News understands that the new lockdown relaxation by the UK government means citizens will now be able to stay overnight with their partners after a long time due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, death tolls in the United Kingdom have risen to 41,128 since the outbreak of Coronavirus in the UK about 11 weeks now, Naija News understands.

According to the Department of Health and Social Care, DHSC in the UK, thousands of people have died of Coronavirus disease codenamed (COVID-19) over the months at hospitals, care homes, and within communities in the country.

However, UK prime minister, Boris Johnson, has announced a few moments ago that single adult households in England will be allowed as from coming Saturday to form a “support bubble” with another household.

The “support bubbles” will give room for single parents, isolated grandparents to again relate with their loved ones, reside in their homes without the usual two-metre social distancing practised over months now.

Johnson, however, noted that if any group of the bubble show symptoms of COVID-19, all persons involved will be taken to isolation for 14 days as medical experts suggested.

The primer minister while addressing a press conference a few moments ago said: “I know how difficult the past months have been for people cut off from their friends and family.”

“Last Monday we relaxed the rules on meeting outdoors so that groups of six could gather provided they are socially distant. We did so in the knowledge that the transmission rate is much lower outdoors, so we could make this change in a safe way.”

“There are too many people, particularly those who live by themselves who are lonely and struggling with being unable to see friends and family,” Johnson noted.

He added, “So from this weekend we will allow single we will allow single adult households – adults living alone, or single parents with children under 18 – to form a support bubble with one other household.”

“We’re making this change to support those who are particularly lonely as a result of lockdown measures. It’s a targeted intervention to limit the most harmful effects of the current social restrictions.”

This is coming a week after Naija News reported that the UK government announced new COVID-19 lockdown rules for indoor activities among residents, most especially that which may involve people leaving outside their house.
